We are looking for a full time, dependable, highly motivated and friendly individual to join our Sales team. The mission of the Sales Consultant is to maximize vehicle sales and profit while maintaining the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties include:

  • Demonstrates favorable public and employee contacts.
    • Works harmoniously with co-workers and supervisor.
    • Shows a professional approach towards customers, co-workers and the public at large.
    • Dresses appropriately for the position held to insure a professional image.
  • Demonstrates adherence to company procedures
    • Comes to work on time and is dependable.
    • Follows sales policies and the employee handbook.
    • Is self-disciplined and works without constant supervision.
  • Maintains a positive attitude about the job.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge; participate in any and all product training available.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of competitive models and their features, and how they compare to the Ed Schmidt franchises.
  • Set goals for each months productivity; plan and organize how to reach those objectives.
  • Use CRM to log customer contact information
  • Be proactive by seeking new customers through prospecting and referrals.
  • Show concern for the customers needs throughout the sales process.
  • Use closing techniques effectively; ask for help from management with closing when necessary. Be profit minded when closing.
  • Follow all dealership processes and procedures to ensure an excellent rating on the sales, delivery and follow up processes from each customer.

The successful sales consultant qualifications include:

  • Previous sales experience; preferably automotive sales for pre-owned vehicle positions.
  • A professional appearance and customer oriented attitude.
  • A valid in-state drivers license with an acceptable driving record according to dealership guidelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills; well organized and self-motivated.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or comparable preferred
